Cherri Chapman's Lemon Drop Cake |

A friend of the family, Cherri, made this cake when we had our annual Memorial Day get together a few years ago...it was to die for! Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) box lemon cake mix |
1 (21 ounce) can lemon pie filling |
1 (12 ounce) container cool whip |
1/4-1/2 cup lemon drop candy, crushed |
Directions:
1. Make lemon cake according to box instructions. Let cool. 2. Spread pie filling over cake and then spread Cool Whip over that. 3. Sprinkle with crushed lemon drop candies. |
