Chef's Market Corn Fritters |

Ingredients:
1 cup creamed corn |
1 cup whole kernel corn |
2 large eggs |
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
vegetable oil, for frying |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients except the oil together until well blended. 2. Heat 1/2-inch vegetable oil in a wide frying pan over medium-high heat. Drop the batter by heaping tablespoonfuls into the hot oil being careful not to overcrowd them in the pan. Cook, turning once, until browned on both sides, about 1 minute per side.
