This is a great recipe i got from my dad. It's basically a vegtable stew with polish/polska kelibasa with cheddar cheese soup added at the end. Very DELISIOUS! my whole family LOVES it.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb polska kielbasa (depending on how much meat you like)
4 -5 large potatoes (peeled and slices into quarters)
3 stalks celery (choped)
5 large carrots (peeled and choped)
1 medium onion (peeled and minced)
1 (8 ounce) can sweet corn
3 (8 ounce) cans campbell's beef consomme
3 (8 ounce) cans campbell's cheddar cheese soup
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
Directions:
1. Slice keilbasa into simi-thin slices and put into large stew pot. set to medium heat and let simmer untile browned. Do not drain. 2. Add all peeled and sliced vegtables into pot. Add the three cans beef consume' and refill each empty can with water. Add the water. 3. Bring stew to a boil and then turn the heat down to simmer. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or untile all vegtables are soft. 4. Add the three cans cheddar cheese soup and tablespoon liquid smoke. Stir untile cheese soup is melted and evenly distributed. 5. Serve and enjoy!
