Cheesy Smothered Chicken

This is so good-your family will love this, mine does.
Ingredients:
4 -6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated
1 medium sweet onion, chopped
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup butter
Directions:
1. Sauté the onion and mushroom in the butter; season with salt and black pepper.
2. Grill the chicken breast until almost done about 3/4 of the way.
3. Place chicken in a casserole dish; cover with onions and mushrooms, then cover with cheese.
4. Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly brown.
