Cheesy Roasted Red Pepper Bread |

Ingredients:
1 lb french bread, loaf |
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
1/2 cup miracle whip |
1/4 cup finely chopped roasted red pepper, well drained (from 7 oz jar) |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, if desired |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400°. 2. Cut bread loaf horizontally into 3 layers. 3. Mix remaining ingredients. 4. Spread half of the cheese mixture over bottom layer. 5. Top with second layer; spread with remaining cheese mixture. 6. Top with third layer; press firmly. 7. Wrap loaf securely in heavy-duty aluminum foil. 8. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot. 9. Serve warm. 10. Substitution: You can substitute finely chopped fresh red bell pepper for the roasted red bell pepprs in this recipe. 11. Variation: You can heat this bread on the grill over medium heat for 15 to 20 min. |
