My aunt brings this dish to Christmas Eve every year, and even though she doubles it it never lasts! Ingredients:
32 ounces frozen potatoes (the little cubes) |
2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided) |
1/2 cup melted butter |
10 ounces cream of potato soup |
1 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. 2. Mix 2 cups of the shredded cheese in a large bowl with the sour cream and soup. 3. Add the garlic. 4. Mix the potatoes into the soup mixture. 5. Stir in the melted butter. 6. Spread into a greased 9x13-inch pan. 7. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. 8. Bake for 1 hour, or until heated through and the top is nice and crispy. |
