From 365 Snacks, Hor D’oeuvres and Appetizers Ingredients:
1 cup milk |
4 ounces flour, cut up |
1 cup flour |
3 eggs |
1/4 cup finely chopped swiss cheese |
1/4 cup minced ham |
1/3 cup pine nuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425. In a medium saucepan, combine milk and butter. 2. Place over medium heat until butter melts. Stir in flour. Cook, stirring constantly, until batter leaves the side of the pan and forms a ball. 3. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs, one at a time, making sure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. 4. Fold in cheese, ham and pine nuts. 5. Scoop into 1 inch balls and arrange 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. 6. Bake 15 minutes, then lower heat to 325 and bake until golden brown, 10-15 minutes longer. 7. Serve warm or at room temperature. |
