Found this in a magazine that came in the mail. Serves 4 as main dish or 8 as a side. Ingredients:
1 lb dry penne pasta |
1 (77 g) package knorr cream leek soup mix |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped |
1 1/2 cups swiss cheese or 1 1/2 cups gruyere cheese, shredded and divided |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup fresh breadcrumb |
1 tablespoon margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain well. 3. Toss noodles with soup mix, sour cream, parsley, 1 cup cheese and pepper. 4. Spoon into a 8 cup casserole dish. 5. Toss the bread crumbs with the remaining cheese and margarine. 6. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole. 7. Bake 30 minute. |
