Juicy mushrooms oozing with scrumptious melted cheese, served on a bed of lettuce. Wonderful flavour and an easy recipe to have as an appetizer. Ingredients:
8 large flat mushrooms |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
4 sprigs thyme |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
salt & freshly ground black pepper |
3 1/2 ounces cheddar cheese, grated |
green salad, to serve |
Directions:
1. Place the mushrooms on a roasting sheet and scatter with garlic and thyme. Drizzle with the oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. 2. Grill for 5 minutes, top with grated cheese and grill for 1 minute, until melted. Serve with a green salad. |
