Cheesy Mashed Potato With Chives

A delicious spin on mashed potatoes. Once served, mash potato has a lovely stringy cheese texture with a taste amplified by the chives and chicken salt.
Ingredients:
3 (medium sized) potatoes
1 x cup of milk (full cream or lite)
2 x teaspoons of chives (tube of chives available in fruit-and-veg section of any supermarket)
1 x cup of shredded tasty cheese
1 x teaspoon of minced garlic
pepper to taste
chicken salt to taste
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes and chop into small chunks;
2. Place potatoes in microwave safe bowl, cover with water, and cook for approximately ten minutes;
3. Once cooked, drain potatoes;
4. Warm milk in microwave for 30-45 seconds;
5. Add potatoes to bowl with warmed milk, garlic and chives. Mash;
6. Add a generous sprinkle of pepper and chicken salt, add cheese. Stir through;
7. Serve immediately as mashed potatoes tend to cool quite quickly.
8. RECIPE IS FOR 2 X PEOPLE. FOR ADDITIONAL PEOPLE, USE APPROXIMATELY 1.5 POTATOES PER PERSON AS A GUIDE.
