This is perfect for a crowd! Ingredients:
10 diced slices bacon |
2 c. of chopped cooked ham |
2 1/2 c. of cubed potatoes |
1 chopped large onion |
1 (15 oz) can of corn, drained |
2 tsp of chicken bouillon |
3 c. of shredded cheddar cheese |
1 c. of diced carrots |
3 tbsp. of flour |
3 c. of milk |
1 1/2 c. of water |

Directions:
1. First you want to take a large soup kettle and then cook bacon over medium flame until crisp. 2. Drain it. 3. Then take the leftover drippings, and saute onion and carrots until tender. 4. Now whisk in flour until blended. 5. Slowly add the milk and water. 6. This should come to a boil. 7. Now you want to cook this and stir for approx. 2 minutes as it thickened. 8. then add in the potatoes, corn, bouillon and pepper. 9. Then should reduce flame to low and cook uncovered for approx. 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. 10. Now add cheese and ham, letting cheese melt. 11. Add bacon. 12. Serve. |
