Haven't tried this yet but thought they looked good. From Somerfield magazine Ingredients:
85 g butter |
115 g grated cheddar cheese |
1 large egg, beaten |
150 ml plain yogurt |
black pepper |
225 g rolled oats |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F, 180C, gas mark 4. Lightly oil an 18cm (7in)square cake tin. 2. Melt 85g (3oz) butter in a large pan. Remove from the heat and stir in 115g (4oz) grated cheddar cheese, 1 large egg, beaten, 150ml (1/4pt) natural yogurt, black pepper and 225g (8oz) rolled oats until well blended. 3. Spoon into the prepared tin and level the surface. Bake for 30 minutes until golden. Remove from the heat and allow to cool in tin. Cut into 9 squares. |
