A nice and easy savory snack made from the store cupboard and great as a lunch box extra. Ingredients:
85 g butter |
115 g cheese, grated |
1 egg, beaten |
150 ml plain yogurt |
225 g rolled oats |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180c/gas, lightly oil a 7inch square cake tin. 2. Melt the butter in a large saucespan.Remove from heat & stir in the cheese, egg, yogurt & oats until well blended. Season to taste. 3. Spoon into the prepared tin & level the surface. Bake for 30 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin. 4. Cut into 9 squares. |
