This is one of those throw and go recipes. Just 4 simple ingredients go into the crockpot (plus seasonings) and at the end of the cooking time, delicious smells and tastes await you. Ingredients:
4 -6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6-8 boneless skinless thighs may be be used) |
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Place chicken breasts or thighs in a 3-1/2 quart crockpot. 2. In a bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. Pour this mixture over the chicken. 3. Cover and cook on LOW heat. The breasts will take about 3-4 hours and the thighs 5-6 hours. 4. Serve over rice with a green vegetable. |
