Another party favorite starting with crescent rolls! (I should own stock in them!! LOL). I usually make several batches if the whole gang is coming over. They will be devoured. Great with any mexican dip, spinach dip, cheese dip, or salsa. Ingredients:
1 can crescent rolls |
3 t cornmeal |
1 small can green cilies, draned |
1 c shredded cheddar |
1 c shredded monterrey jack (or mozzerella, or pepper jack) |
salsa or other dip |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 2. Separate dough into 4 rectangles 3. Coat both sides of each rectangle with cornmeal 4. Place in ungreased 9 nonstick pie pan 5. Press over bottm and up sides to form crust 6. Press edges and seal perferations 7. Sprenkle with any remaining cornmeal 8. Top evenly with chiles and cheeses 9. Bake 24-28 minutes until golden brown 10. Cool 5 minutes 11. Cut into triangles (I use pizza cutter) and serve wtih salas or other dips |
