Cheesy Crab Stuffed Mushrooms |

Been craving a bit of a stuffed mushroom and came across a new cheese at the store.. Of course sub your favorite mushrooms and cheeses (just make sure your cheeses are melty!) and all amounts are approximate and to taste. Ingredients:
15 white button mushrooms, stems removed and wiped clean with a damp paper towel |
1/2 stick unsalted butter |
olive oil-couple of glugs |
6 oz can white crab meat, drained |
4 oz cream cheese |
1/4 cup shredded kraft mexican style queso quesadilla cheese |
1/4 cup grated parmesan, romano & asiago cheese |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
dried parsley flakes |
Directions:
1. Clean and place mushrooms in baking dish. 2. Melt butter with olive oil in microwave then pour over mushrooms and place in a preheated 400* oven for 15-20 minutes till softened. 3. Meanwhile mix crab meat, cheeses and garlic powder. 4. Remove softened mushrooms and top with a heaping spoonful of crab and cheese mixture. 5. Sprinkle with extra Queso and Parmesan cheeses and place back in oven til melted and bubbly. Approx 15 min. 6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with parsley flakes, chives or green onions for color. |
