i found this recipe in my Potluck Cookbook. I got this for Christmas and I haven't had alot of time to make alot of the recipes yet. Ingredients:
6 slices white bread, cut into small pieces |
1 1/4 cups milk |
3 eggs |
1 tablespoon spicy mustard |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1 (12 ounce) can spam, cubed |
2 cups cheddar cheese, divided |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, combine bread, milk, eggs, mustard, garlic powder and paprika. Beat at medium speed with mixer 1 minute.
3. Stir in Spam, 1 cup Cheddar cheese and onion. Pour into greased 12 x 8 inch baking dish.
4. Bake 25 minutes.
5. Top with remaining Cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese.
6. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
7. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
