Cheesy Beef and Veggie Pasta |

A quick meal to throw together - easy to tweak with whatever veggies you have on hand, or what your family likes. Ingredients:
3 cups bow tie pasta, uncooked |
1 lb lean ground beef |
2 carrots, sliced |
4 green onions, chopped |
2 cups milk |
1 cup frozen peas |
1/4 lb velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes |
1 cup monterey jack and cheddar cheese blend, shredded |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta as directed on package and drain. 2. While pasta is cooking, brown meat in large deep skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Return meat to skillet and add carrots and onions; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally. 3. Add pasta to meat mixture with milk, peas and Velveeta; stir. Cook on medium-low heat 5 minute or until Velveeta is melted and mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally. 4. Top with shredded cheese. |
