preheat oven 350 degrees. |
1 pd. lean ground beef (cooked and drained) |
1 large chopped onion |
1 cup of chopped green peppers |
1 clove chopped garlic (optional) |
add 1 can of condensed tomato soup |
1 cup of water |
1 teaspoon of black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon of paprika |
1 tsp sugar |
1 cup of whole kernel corn, drained |
2/3 cup diced tomatoes |
(mix all well and heat in skillet) |

combine 1 1/2 cups of corn meal |
1/4 cup flour |
1 tablespoon of sugar |
1/2 teaspoon of salt |
1 teaspoon of baking powder |
1 beaten egg |
2/3 cup buttermilk |
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. |
mix well |
top |
over (all) - also 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese |
