Breakfast or Brunch for tomorrow,maybe. Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
3 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon beaumonde seasoning |
3 egg yolks,beaten |
1-3/4 cup milk |
1/4 cup cooking oil |
1 tablespoon fresh parsley,snipped |
1 tablespoon fresh chives,snipped |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 cup cheddar cheese,shredded |
8 slices bacon,crisp-cooked,drained and crumbled |
3 egg whites,stiff-beaten |
thin slices of fresh tomatoes. |
6 poached eggs |
Directions:
1. In bowl,mix together dry ingredients. 2. Combine egg yolks,milk,oil,parsley,chives,and worcestershire. 3. Add dry ingredients,mix well. 4. Stir in cheese and bacon. 5. Fold in egg whites. 6. Bake the batter in a preheated waffle baker. 7. Top each with fresh tomatoe slices and poached egg. 8. Makes 6 servings |
