Cheesy Au Gratin Potatoes! |

These potatoes go great with just about any meat dish! Yummy! Ingredients:
10 potatoes, peeled and sliced |
1 medium onion, sliced |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup flour |
4 cups milk |
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled |
1/2 teaspoon basil |
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup velveeta cheese, cubed |
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes for 15-20 minutes. 2. Saute onions with salt, pepper, basil and thyme. 3. Add flour to form a rue. 4. Add milk, stir and cook until thick. 5. Add cheese and continue stirring until melted. 6. Pour over potatoes. 7. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes. 8. Sprinkle top with the crumbled bacon! |
