Cheesy Apple Cider Fondue |

Not sure where I found this recipe, but I serve it as an appetizer for chilly fall days. Ingredients:
3/4 cup apple cider |
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 cup swiss cheese, shredded |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. In saucepan, heat cider to a bubble. 2. In bowl, toss together remaining ingredients. 3. Slowly add cheeses to cider, stirring constantly until melted. 4. Transfer to fondue pot. 5. Serve with apple and pear wedges and crusty bread cubes. |
