A light dessert recipe from Kraft Food & Family Holiday 2006 Ingredients:
1 (19 1/2 ounce) package brownie mix |
1/2 cup applesauce |
3 egg whites, divided |
1/4 cup water |
1 (8 ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup flour |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Mix brownie mix, applesauce, 2 of the egg whites and water. 3. Pour into 13x9-inch baking pan sprayed with cooking spray. 4. Mix cheese, sugar, flour and remaining egg white until well blended. 5. Spoon over brownie batter. 6. Cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect. 7. Bake 28 to 30 minute or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs attached. 8. Cool in pan on wire rack. |
