Another recipe from my friend Charlotte. Ingredients:
9 sq. graham crackers, finely crushed |
1/2 c. flour |
1/2 c. chopped walnuts |
1/4 c. sugar |
1/2 c. butter, melted |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened |
1/3 c. sugar |
1 egg |
1 tbs. lemon juice |
2 tbs. finely crushed graham cracker |
Directions:
1. Stir together first 4 ingredients add melted butter, mix until 2. crumbly. 3. Pat into ungreased 9x9x2 baking dish. 4. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. 5. Blend cream cheese and sugar. 6. Add egg and lemon juice. 7. Mix well. 8. Pour over baked layer. 9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. 10. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs. 11. Cool and cut in squares. 12. Yields 3 dozen. Store in refrigerator. |
