A twist on the traditional sloppy joes, made with barbecue sauce, best served with crisp french fries or wedges and veggies with dip. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
1/2 white onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup ketchup |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
4 hamburger buns |
4 slices processed cheddar cheese |
2 dill pickles, sliced |
Directions:
1. Brown meat with onion and garlic, in large skillet. Drain fat, add barbecue sauce, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, satl and pepper. Cook 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Spoon meat mixture onto bottom halvof of buns, place cheese on meat, add sliced pickles, top with top bun. |
