I found this recipe in Family Circle magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
3/4 cup milk |
1/3 cup ketchup |
12 ounces velveeta shells and cheese dinner |
1 medium tomato, chopped (optional) |
1/4 cup green onion, slices (optional) |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in skillet; drain. 2. Add 1 1/4 cups water, milk and ketchup. Bring to boil. Stir in shell macaroni; return to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low;cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender. 3. Add cheese sauce, tomato and onions; stir until well blended. |
