These are a great appetizer for a ball game. The guys love these when I make them. My kids even ask me to make them for dinner using full sized hamburger buns, I haven't yet but they would be great. I like to serve these with all the fixins on the side and let your guests add as wanted. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
2 teaspoons instant minced onion |
1 teaspoon mustard |
8 ounces velveeta cheese, cut into cubes |
24 mini sandwich buns, split |
dill pickle slices |
sliced tomato |
shredded lettuce |
additional ketchup and mustard |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in large skillet over midium heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently to reak into small pieces. 2. Drain. 3. Stir in 2 T. ketchup, onion and 1 teaspoons mustard. 4. Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. 5. Spoon beef mixture into sprayed slow cooker. 6. Top with cheese. 7. Cover; cook on low setting for 3 to 4 hours. 8. To serve, stir beef mixture. 9. Spoon 1 rounded T. mixture into each bun. 10. Serve with toppings. |
