Tasty hamburger snacks made with processed cheese sauce and ground beef on slices of cocktail rye. They are easy to make, and perfect to munch on during the game. Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef |
1 (16 ounce) jar processed cheese sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
16 ounces cocktail rye bread |
Directions:
1. Preheat the broiler. 2. Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and crumble. 3. In a medium bowl, mix together the beef, processed cheese sauce, salt and pepper. Spread the mixture on the slices of cocktail rye. 4. Place the slices on a large baking sheet, and broil 5 minutes, or until the cheese sauce is melted. |
