These simple nibblers may be stored in a cookie tin for a week or wrapped tightly in the freezer for three months.
Ingredients:
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese or 2 cups gouda cheese, grated
2 cups rice krispies
1 cup butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash red pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F Mix ingredients well, roll into balls and press with a fork.
2. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
