1/2 lb extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
60 pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°. 2. Mix flour and butter,. 3. then add cheese and seasonings. 4. Form into a roll (approximately 1 inch in diameter). 5. Wrap the roll in wax paper and chill at least several hours or overnight. 6. Slice into thin wafers,. 7. top each with a pecan half,. 8. and bake about 8 minutes. |
