These are really yummy with a big bowl of hot soup!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
1/3 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Cut in shortning and cheese until crumbly.
3. Add milk; mix well.
4. Roll dough out to 1/8 inch thick; sprinkle with paprika.
5. Cut in strips about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide.
6. Place on greased baking sheet.
7. Bake at 400* for 10 minutes, or until light brown.
