My friend Julie brings this over as an appetizer when I invite her family to dinner at our house. It's so yummy I had to have it. Ingredients:
1 pound cheese (cheddar, jack or variety), shredded |
one 1/2 to one whole onion, coarsely chopped |
1 stick unsalted butter cut into small pieces |
tobasco to taste |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let stand until cheese softens approximately one hour. |
