A delicious and hearty souffle. You can substitute broccoli for spinach. Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach |
1/2 lb grated cheddar cheese |
1 lb cottage cheese |
1/4 cup melted butter |
2 eggs, separated |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Cook spinach. 3. Mix cheeses, butter, spinach, and egg yolks. 4. Add flour and baking powder and mix. 5. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them inches. 6. Pour into a buttered 2-quart souffle dish. 7. Bake 1 hour. |
