Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon red pepper |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1 cup butter or margarine, softened |
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; stir well. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cheese; stir well. Shape into a ball. 2. Roll dough to 1/3-inch thickness on a floured surface; cut with a 1 3/4-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on greased baking sheets. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. |
