A GREAT variation on pimiento cheese spread! Ingredients:
2 tablespoons capers, drained |
10 ounces swiss cheese, finely grated |
1 (12 ounce) jar sliced mild banana peppers, drained and minced |
2 tbsp.minced fresh chives |
3 tablespoons sour cream |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon dry crushed red pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Soak capers in water to cover 10 minuters, drain. 2. Stir together capers and remaining ingredients. Cover and chill for 2 hours before serving. Serve with assorted crackers. |
