Made with crisp rice cereal and cheese. For a tasty snack or appetizer. Ingredients:
1 cup soft butter |
4 to 5 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 1/2 cups flour |
dash of cayenne pepper |
1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal |
Directions:
1. Cream butter with the cheese. 2. Blend in flour and cayenne pepper. 3. Mix in cereal. 4. Press into buttered 8 or 9 inch cake pan. 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 min. or until crisp. 6. Cool. Cut into bars. 7. Serve warm or cold. |
