This is so good and irresistable that my great friend Amy named it crack LOL It takes a while to spread all that cheese mixture but it'll be a hit guaranteed. Ingredients:
1 lb salted butter (room temperature) |
4 5 oz jars old english kraft cheese |
1 t tabasco |
1 t onion powder |
1 1/2 t worcestershire sauce |
1 t beau monde seasoning |
1 1/2 t dill (optional) |
2 1/2 loaves pepperidge farms sandwich bread (not the thin sliced) |
Directions:
1. Beat butter until fluffy and then add all seasonings. 2. Trim crusts from bread. 3. Spread mixture over one slice then continue layering to make a stack three slices thick. 4. Ice top and sides with mixture then cut into fourths. 5. Ice the cut sides 6. Put on wax paper and freeze for 30 minutes or more. 7. Put into freezer bags to store. 8. Bake frozen at 325 degrees until edges brown (15-20 minutes). Serve hot. 9. Makes 70-80 squares. |
