Cheese & Chive Penne for One |

A classic Italian dish at a bargain price. Ingredients:
3 1/2 ounces penne pasta |
1 ounce blue cheese, crumbled |
1 ounce parmesan cheese, finely grated |
1 dash milk |
2 teaspoons chives, chopped |
1 pinch paprika |
1 teaspoon butter |
1 teaspoon english mustard |
Directions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente and drain. 2. Leaving a small handful of each for later, melt the cheeses with the butter, a dash of milk and a little paprika in a saucepan (this should take about 2 to 3 minutes). 3. Stir in the mustard. 4. Stir in the pasta, milk, remaining cheeses and chives and serve. |
