It was the first chese cake i ever made,it is really yummy,everyone loved it at home! Ingredients:
crust |
cashewnut powder-1/2 cup |
sugar-1cup |
butter-1/4cup |
cake |
cream cheese-1 &1/2cups |
castor sugar-1cup |
eggs-1 cup |
lemon juice-1 tbsp |
vanilla essence-1/2 tsp |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 180C 2. for the crust: 3. mix together all the ingredients with hand & spread in an 8 inch baking dish,covering bottom and 1 inch up the sides.set aside. 4. cream together cream cheese & sugar till smooth taking care that no lumps remain. 5. separate yolks & whites of eggs carefully.lighty beat egg yolks & mix then into cheese & sugar mixture. 6. stir inlemon juice & vanilla esssence into the mixture. 7. using a blender,beat egg whites till they form soft peaks.fold in beaten egg whites into the mixture. 8. pour mixture over the crust lined in the baking dish.bake in the preheated oven at 180C for 30 mins or till the centre is firm. 9. cool and refrigerate. 10. the cake is moist enough and doesn't require any toppings. 11. serve chilled!! |
