Archive from my Mothers recipes! Just sharing! Please try. I am not sure on servings and prep time. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups plain flour |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage |
1 (12 ounce) can beer |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan. 3. Mix all dry ingredients, stir in beer and cheese until well blended. 4. Spread evenly in pan. 5. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. 6. Cool 10 minutes. |
