A basic cheese ball with bleu cheese. This is strong flavored and very tasty. I like to serve this with breadsticks and crackers. Cook time is chill time. Ingredients:
5 ounces blue cheese |
1 (5 ounce) jar kraft old english cheese spread |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
cayenne pepper, to taste |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese |
2 tablespoons onion juice (grated and strained) |
1/2 lb pecans, chopped |
garlic salt, to taste |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients, except for pecans, with electric mixer. 2. Add 1/2 of the pecans, shaved fine. 3. Form into ball, place in a bowl wich has been lined with waxed paper. 4. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. 5. Remove 1 1/2 hours before serving. 6. With rolling pin crush remaining pecans between 2 pieces of waxed paper and roll ball until covered. 7. Garnish with parsley. |
