Cheese and Tomatoesauce Pasta Casserole |

I have been making this Casserole for years. It's very easy to make and tastes great. You don't realy need to top it all with more cheese since it already has a cheese sauce but i like a propper crust. This is the basic recipe i have made this with Zuchini and Carrots in it aswell. Ingredients:
500 g fusilli |
250 g gouda cheese |
500 g ground beef |
2 onions |
1 garlic clove |
500 ml strained tomatoes |
1 tablespoon tomato, concentrate |
oregano |
salt and pepper |
250 ml milk |
100 g processed cheese |
1 teaspoon mustard |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown Meat, Onions and Garlic (don't skimp on browning the meat it makes up a lot of the flavour). 2. Add Strained Tomatoes and Tomatoe Puree. 3. season with salt/pepper and Oregano. 4. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes. 5. In a small pot cook milk. 6. add proccessed cheese and mustard. 7. stir it constantly it scorches very fast. 8. stir in the conrstach. 9. let cook for 2 minutes. 10. Put the fusilli into a casserole dish. 11. add the tomatoe sauce and mix it a bit. 12. cover it with the chesse sauce. 13. top with gouda. 14. bake uncovered at 220° c for about 30-45 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. |
