Cheese And Onion Cornbread |

This is so good when served hot with butter. Compliments any meal. Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal |
3/4 cup flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup finely minced onion |
1 cup milk |
2 eggs |
4 teaspoons oil |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375*. 2. In large bowl, mix all ingredients except cheese. 3. Mix well. 4. Fold in cheese. 5. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. |
