Easy to make and ingredients are probably on hand. Ingredients:
8 ounces wide egg noodles |
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
15 ounces tomato sauce |
3 ounces mushrooms, undrained and chopped |
8 ounces sharp american cheese, sliced |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles, drain. 2. In a large skillet, brown beef and onion. 3. Stir in in 3/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper, cooked noodles, tomato sauce, undrained mushrooms and 4 slices of cheese cut up. 4. Turn into a 13 X 9- inch baking pan. 5. Bake uncovered at 350F for 35 minutes. 6. Arrange remaining 4 cheese slices over top. 7. Return to oven until cheese is melted. |
