Very tasty and healthy Ingredients:
1 puff pastry, thawed |
1 tbsp vegetable oil |
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup cheddar chese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees 2. Lightly grease a large baking pan. 3. Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface to a large rectangle, about 10 x 14 inches. 4. Spread the pastry with oil leaving a 1/2 inch border. Brush the edges with egg and sprinkle with the cheese. 5. Roll the pastry up tightly like a jely roll, starting from a long edge. Brush the outside of the pastry with the beaten egg. 6. Cut the pastry roll nto thick slices and place on baking sheet. 7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the pastry is well risen and golden. |
