A recipe from the book Bread Machine Magic by Linda Rehberg and Lois Conway. Ingredients:
5/8 cup buttermilk |
2 1/2 cups bread flour |
1 cup rye flour |
1 tsp. salt |
1 1/2 tbsp. butter |
2 tbsp. brown sugar |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 t. caraway seeds |
3 tsp. yeast |
Directions:
1. Place ingredients into bread pan and push start. Let cool for one hour before slicing. This is a dense bread. Use the day you make it. IT doesn't keep well. |
