An easy cheesy mashed potato Ingredients:
cheddar potato bake |
1 can (103/4 oz.) condensed cheddar cheese soup |
1/3 cup sour cream or plain yogurt |
4 tbs. chopped green onions |
black pepper to taste |
3 cups stiff seasoned mashed potatoes |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
2 tbs. dry bread crumbs |
1 tbs. margarine or butter, melted |
1/4 tsp. paprika |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. In a 1/1/2 quart casserole dish, combine soup, sour cream, half of the onions, and pepper. 3. Stir in potatoes until blended. 4. In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs, butter, and paprika. Sprinkle evenly over potatoes. 5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Garnish with shredded cheese and pop back in oven for 5 minutes to allow cheese to melt. Garnish with other half of green onions. |
