Cheddar Mashed Potatoes with Sage

Prep: 3 minutes; Cook: 6 minutes. You may be pleasantly surprised at the rich creaminess you can get from a package of frozen mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups 1% low-fat milk
3 cups frozen mashed potatoes (about 11 ounces)
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon butter
1/4 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Cook milk in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add potatoes, and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
2. Reduce heat to low; add cheese and remaining ingredients. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
