Ingredients:
2 cups milk |
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits |
1 teaspoon seasoned salt |
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring 2 cups milk and 2 cups water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Gradually whisk in 1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits and 1 teaspoon seasoned salt. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until thickened. Add 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper, whisking until cheese melts. |
