You have to shred the cheddar yourself. Using the pre-shredded cheese doesn't turn out the same - it separates. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 lb cheddar cheese, shredded |
2/3 cup cream cheese |
3 egg whites |
french bread |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter & cheeses together, stirring to keep from scorching. set aside to cool. 2. beat egg whites until stiff. 3. add egg whites to almost cooled down cheese. 4. cut french bread into cubes and dip. |
